Every client deserves a lawyer who will independently investigate the facts, advocate his client’s best interests at each opportunity, and fight for the best outcome.
I represent clients through all phases of the criminal justice process: investigation and arrest, preliminary hearings, arraignments and pre-trial release (bonding and bond reduction), discovery, plea negotiations, motion hearings, trial, sentencing, appeal, and post-conviction remedies (2255 motions and habeas corpus).
I defend people in municipal, state, and federal courts charged with infractions, misdemeanors, and felonies. I’ve represented defendants in the largest identity theft prosecution in Missouri’s history, but I also defend people accused of traffic offenses like speeding and driving while suspended. I am most often found in Jackson County Circuit Court, Independence Municipal, Kansas City Municipal, and Blue Springs Municipal. But I usually have cases in Platte County and Lafayette Circuit Courts, the United States District Court, the United States Court of Appeals (8th and 10th Circuit), and municipal courts throughout the Kansas City metro area.
Regardless where your case is, or what you are charged with, I will investigate the facts and develop an individual strategy.
